Clearing Callout Cache Manually

Last updated on Feb 16, 2026

This function clears the cached results of recipient verification checks.

SpamExperts uses SMTP callout verification to confirm whether an email address exists before accepting or delivering mail. The results are temporarily stored to improve performance.

Use Clear callout cache (Incoming or Outgoing) when:

• A new mailbox was created but emails are still being rejected.
• An email address was previously invalid but is now valid.
• Mail routing settings were changed.
• You are troubleshooting delivery or rejection issues.

This action does not delete any emails. This helps offload your destination mail server, and is part of SpamExperts protection against dictionary attacks.

To Clear Cache Callout manually,

  1. Navigate to Continuity Tab from the main Dashboard.

  2. Select Clear Callout Cache - Incoming for incoming mails,

  3. or Clear Callout Cache - Outgoing for outgoing mails.

  4. Click Clear, a successful confirm message will show up when it's finished.

  5. The cache has been cleared successfully!
